Christopher Robert Evans, born 13 June 1981, is an American actor. He began his acting career acting in TV shows including Opposite Sexual Sex in the year 2000. In 2005, following his appearances in Not Another Teen Movie and Fantastic Four (and its sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer 2007), he was recognized for his role as Marvel Comics character, the Human Torch. Evans was also featured in film adaptations based on comics, including TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2009) Snowpiercer (2003). Evans gained more attention for his role as Steve Rogers / Captain America in a variety of Marvel Cinematic Universe films namely Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) and Captain America: Civil War as well as the group films The Avengers Age of Ultron (2015) Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Endgame (2019). His work on the Marvel series helped establish him as one of the top-paid actors.
